What's the difference between the two options?
Both give you the same tracking, immobilisation, and anti-hijack protection. Option 1 (£699) includes a SIM with phone call and SMS alerts plus full app access. Option 2 (£639) uses a data-only SIM for app alerts only, with no call or text notifications.
Is there an ongoing subscription?
The first year's subscription is included in the price. For the data-only option, it then works the same way as our StarLine M13 — preloaded data typically lasts around 3 years depending on usage, and we simply top up the SIM when needed, usually for under £60 (exact pricing can vary, so get in touch for a current quote).
How is this different from the Nitro Pro?
The Nitro Pro is a standalone immobiliser. The M66v2 adds live tracking and anti-hijack detection on top of immobilisation — a meaningful step up if you want more than prevention alone.
How is this different from the StarLine S9?
The StarLine S9 is a full Connected Car alarm-based platform with more extensive features. The M66v2 is a smaller, more affordable hybrid device — the right choice if you want tracking and immobilisation together without the S9's full feature set and price.
