Real answers for existing customers — PIN and service mode help, tag and tracker guidance, manuals, and what to do if your vehicle's been stolen. If it's outside business hours, start here — most questions can be sorted without waiting for a reply.
🚨 Vehicle Stolen? Do This Now
- Call 999 immediately and report the theft to the police first.
- Have a tracker fitted? Call TrackManager's own 24/7 stolen vehicle line on 0203 835 3234 — this is answered around the clock by TrackManager directly, not us, and they can start live monitoring and liaise with police straight away. You can also log into login.trackmanagerlite.co.uk to share your live location with police yourself.
- Then call or WhatsApp us — we're happy to help however we can, though TrackManager's own line above is the fastest route for anything tracker-related.
Ghost Immobiliser Help
Car won't start?
If your Ghost is blocking the engine, first check you're entering your PIN sequence correctly on the right controls. Some vehicles use an alternative button instead of the accelerator pedal for part of the sequence:
| Vehicle | Alternative Button |
|---|---|
| Jaguar / Land Rover | High beam flash |
| Porsche | Hazard lights |
| VW / Audi group | High beam flash |
If you've forgotten your PIN, you'll need your emergency override card. Lost the card? You'll need to send your V5 and driving licence to Autowatch before a replacement can be issued — this can take up to two weeks, so it's worth keeping the card somewhere safe rather than in the vehicle.
Need service mode for an MOT or garage visit?
Service mode temporarily disables the Ghost so a garage can start the vehicle without your PIN. The button used to activate it depends on your vehicle:
| Vehicle | Service Mode Button |
|---|---|
| BMW | Traction control (DTC) OFF |
| Ford | Cruise control on/off, or handbrake up & down |
| Jaguar / Land Rover (pre-2021) | Cruise control cancel |
| Jaguar / Land Rover (2022+) | Passenger front window up |
| Mercedes | Driver's window up |
| VW / Audi group | Driver's window up |
Remember to turn service mode back off once you collect the vehicle — while it's active, the Ghost isn't protecting your car.
Nitro Pro Immobiliser Help
Checking your tag
Your Nitro Pro tag has one small button. Press it and count the blinks to check its status:
Checks if the tag is switched on — 5 blinks means it's on, a steady light means it's off.
Checks service mode status — one blink means service mode is off (normal), two blinks means it's currently on.
Checks the tag's battery — four blinks is a good level, one or two blinks means it needs replacing soon. The battery typically lasts around 15 months; it's a CR2032 coin cell.
Car won't start?
Most commonly this means the tag isn't in range or its battery has gone flat — check the battery status above first. If you set up a backup PIN sequence at installation, you can also disarm using that instead of the tag. If neither works, contact us rather than repeatedly retrying — the system temporarily locks out after 50 incorrect PIN attempts.
Forgotten your PIN, or lost your emergency scratch card?
A forgotten PIN can only be reset by your installer — that's us, so get in touch. If your emergency unlock scratch card is lost or damaged, the code on it can't be recovered, so we'll need to arrange an alternative way to get you moving.
S5, S7 & Fleet Tracker Help
Logging into your account
Use the login details emailed to you after installation at login.trackmanagerlite.co.uk. Enter everything in lower case — this trips up more people than anything else. The same login works on the TrackManager app (iOS and Android) for push alerts.
Driver tags & battery life
If your tracker uses driver ID tags (S5), battery life depends on the tag type: the black teardrop-shaped tag with an on/off button generally lasts beyond 3 years and the battery is replaceable, as is the white rectangular tag. The thin black tag lasts around 2 years but its battery isn't replaceable.
StarLine Alarm & Immobilisation Help
Manage your StarLine S9 or M13 from the StarLine 2 app, where you can arm/disarm, check status, and — on systems with remote immobilisation — issue commands to the vehicle remotely. For anything beyond day-to-day use, StarLine's own technical support team can help directly.
Manufacturer Support Links
For older or less common systems we've installed, your manufacturer's own support team will usually have the fastest answers:
