Pandora Microbot Spotlight: Choose Your Own Way to Disarm

One of the questions I get asked most when fitting an immobiliser is: “how do I actually disarm it day to day, is it a faff?” With the Pandora Microbot, the answer is genuinely nice, because you get to choose.

You can disarm it with an encrypted Bluetooth tag, so it recognises your phone or key fob as you approach and lets you get on with your journey. Or if you’d rather keep it simple, you can disarm it with a PIN entered using the vehicles factory buttons instead. Neither is “better”, it’s just about what suits you. Some people love the tag because there’s nothing to remember as such, others prefer a PIN because it’s dead simple and there’s weakness of losing the tag to think about. I’ll talk you through both when I fit it and you can decide what fits your routine.
